Judges 13 "Divine Dialogue" Part 6

Searching to know God is the greatest desire of our hearts. This is true contentment. Peace in any storm.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Points to remember:

  1. Be distinctly different, we have been called out of this world

  2. What is hindering us as we move into the New Year?

  3. Pray

  4. Follow after Him

  5. Cultural seduction is bondage

  6. The jail cell is wide open, let us walk out and into 2021 with freedom

1 Kings 19:1-13 "Divine Dialogue" Part 5

Elijah thinks he has failed. This is how he feels. It is an honest hearts cry. Now, at this point, he is real before the Lord his God. Christians, let us always remember that obedience is not failure. We are on God’s schedule and He has perfect timing. Some trust in chariots, some trust in horses, but we will trust in the name of the Lord.

When we find ourselves in discouragement:

  1. Start praying

  2. Do not neglect your physical health

  3. Keep moving

  4. Go back to the place where God has met you before and seek Him

  5. Be patient, with God and with yourself

  6. Listen more that you look

Psalm 51 "Divine Dialogue" Part 4

Assistant Pastor March Villareal teaches from Psalm 51 in the continuation of Divine Dialogue, Part 4.

Psalm 51 is a prayer of reconciliation. Sin acknowledged, salvation understood and sacrifice clarified. If we do not grieve how God grieves, we need to stop and check ourselves. Salvation is that we have not sinned beyond God’s ability to forgive. He will restore us. Wash us white as snow. Empty us and then fill us with His words of life.

  • Let us realize what we can do and what only God can do.

  • Let us not create obstacles where there are none

  • Let us strive to respond rightly to low feelings

  • Let us seek after the right sacrifices

  • Let our perspective be grace, gratitude, worship and ministry
